Non turbo DSM injectors in my Del Sol
Can i put non turbo injectors into my del sol Z6. Theyr'e rated at 280 i believe and if ppl are scaling the 450cc ones down to 300 cc then can't i just use the 280's and scale them up using the VAFC. Just wondering if anybody has done it b4....thanks....
Also, do 390cc injectors idle better than the 450cc ones?

Re: Non turbo DSM injectors in my Del Sol (Del_Slowest)
I'm not shure exactly what your trying to ask, But...
You can use any injectors in you engine as long as you can tune it. The DSM non-turbo injectors won't give you any advatage over your stock injectors. (they ar only slightly bigger) If you are asking about trying to do an AFC hack using the 280cc DSM's... it won't work. you need the bigger 450's to compensate for where the AFC puts the map signal.
As far as the what will idle... I run DSM 450's in my Sol, and it idles like it was stock. I tuned my ECU using Crome.
Good luck

Re: Non turbo DSM injectors in my Del Sol (Dr Honda)
I put the DSM 450cc's in today, idle like a champ. I'm happy, thanks for your post. I'm also looking into the uberdata crom stuff since i have a rom buner and eprom emulator. Just not many ppl around here have chipped ecu's so i can't see how well it's working for them.
