NO2 with an auto trans? What issues am I looking at?
NO2 with an AUTO?
I was going to do a little $1000 turbo kit for my friends 90 Accord but I was thinking, hey, we can get a NOS kit for $500 and be getting the same or more hp. But I remembered that there were some issues with having the nitrous running at WOT through a shift. I can't remember the specifics, I never nitroused an auto, but maybe someone here does. Thanks!

My car is still slow... but tranny is taking it rather nicely, but then again I baby my car like you wouldn't believe and only beat it on the track or highway with the occasional ricer.... I need to practice more at launching and keep her in 3rd gear at the track... thats why my time sucks right now.

Plus you'd be like the cars in F&F.
EDIT: forgot to mention that if you go too high of a shot, you're gonna need a different torque converter.

There is no problem since in your automatic you will have fun air and gas going in. You will never lift the throttle right

Auto's are good for boost if built correctly. You can launch out the hole under boost, and shift without losing boost. But then again, I've yet to see a Honda A/T transmission built for drag racing.... I heard SCC is coming out with their project Drag CRX with an A/T transmission? Might be something interesting to look into.

Thanks alot Kamin...but it's not my car, me and a buddy are just doing a little low budget speed project on his beater 90 accord. We were planning on a 50 shot on top of the stock 130 hp motor. We were looking for 14s for $1000, but NO2 would save a lot.
