Default Nitrous Express "N-ter cooler kit" ???

I'm a little curious if anybody on here has tried this or read anything about it.
From what they say, it seems like a pretty safe way to get a little nitrous boost?
Any comments???

IT just chills the intercooler, it doesn't inject nitrous into the engine. It wouls be easier to just have a nitrous setup w/ the purge selonoid directed at the intercooler. A 20 or 35 shot on a F/I engine is enough to lower the intake temps. That way you get the benfits from both the "N-ter cooler" and having 75% of a nitrous set-up why just go ahead and add it in?

Thanks for the info Speek Phreak.
I'm more curious on how much HP it will produce. They claim it made 58hp on a turbocharged honda but they don't state which one.
Does anybody on there have this kit and Dyno'd it?

There's currently a contest on their website. If you can come up with a name that they like for the thing, you'll win a free kit. Hmm what would be a good name...

I'd like to know this to because I am running extremly rich so I was thinking I should throw some N2O into the intercooler or the charge pipe to lean it out. Dumb idea or not?

well, i just hooked mine all up,a nd i am now spraying a 35-40 shot into my charge pipe,i talked with brian @NX and he told me that i will be ok because i am adding fuel while i add nitrous, so going lean shouldnt be a prob. the only precaution he gave me was to make sure that i am no closer to the throttle body than 12inches, on a turboed motor.
thanks
brian

p.s. a 35-40 shot a a boosted motor kicks ***.!!!!! when it hits while i am under a full 15-16 psi pull in third gear the tires just friggin start spinning uncontrollably...

Turbodcx, could you post some pics of your N-ter cooler kit setup ( especially of your intercooler )? Just want to see what it looks like on a turbo car. Thanks.

slowcivic, i am not using the n-tercooler, i am simply just hooking up the nitrous you you would nomally, except that i am 12in away from the throttle body... i am just sprying a 35-40 shot into the charge pipe just after the BOV.

I dont see why you would stay 12 inches away? i mean a wet shot would be after the throttle body so why does it matter what distance it is from the throttle body?

Yes, but wet inject equal fuel and nitrous into each runner. Dry shots need time/distance to distribute evenly prior to the throttle plate.

ok, first off i am using a wet shot, which sprays fuel and nitrous onto the intake....
i was told to keep it 12inches away from the TB because of fuel and nitrous atomization that needs to happen on a turboed car.. (this came sraight from NX)

HOLY ****...... i didn't realize that someone actually made a kit that did that, i just thought that peopla had fabricated their own systems to spray an intercooler. with the extra money i'm gonna have i think i'll buy one of those
