Default nippon ls piston on stock gsr block supertech vlvetrain.

I heard that u have to notch the intake relief valve on the piston in order to run it on a b18c engine. With the nippon ls piston it put my cmpression to 9.6.1. Do you really have to notch that valve relief. I've search already and didn't come up with any info. N if u do notch it, how u suppost to notch it. Anyone every try it befor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok guy, I did some more research n I found out the locking pin is another problem. It say that the ls pin is too small n will gave play. I have to use gsr pin but uhave to cut the piston or bore it out. A lot view but guess no one ever did this yet. If u have or know anything about it help please.

Many people on this particular forum don't use the Nippon Piston on a turbocharged motor (Usually for some NA guys) especially since it is a cast piston. you may not get a lot of responses here because of the fact that you're experiencing the problems you are.
