NEWB Question for guys running hondata in cali
hey guys, I am looking to get rid of my blue box and go with hondata but my dad is giving me **** for it since its not emissions legal. I live under there roof so I can't really get around him and was wondering if I can just plug my stock obd 2 back in for emissions?? Will this work??

that's not all you're gonna need to remove to pass emissions.
have you had any luck passing with what you have now?

As of now my car "should" pass emissions because the greddy kit carry's a CARB exemption and I have all the paperwork I need to prove that through greddy. But I don't need ot get in smogged for another year so I will keep my fingers crossed!

well i wish you luck on that
just be careful though, i haven't actually seen one pass... especially with exhaust. but I guess if you have the stock cat hooked up, it's possible.
make sure you keep the stock parts handy just in case. or a little extra $, if you know what i mean.
this is california, it sucks.

Hey GreddyTurboGSR,
I am doing the same thing if i stay in Cali. I have the greddy kit on my Si, and i switched over to the Hondata. when it comes to emissions, if i am still around, i plan to just plug in my Blue box and use it. i also have to switch back to 310ccs, but should not be a problem, i am praying.
