Default new winter project....400 lb/ft on 93 octane.

I am going to try a couple of different methods and try to push my h22 to 400 lb/ft. (i am a fan of massive torque) I am currently making 380 whp and 320 lb /ft w/ this set-up.

sleeved h22
9:1 compression
87mm bore
stock head, stock IM
720 injectors
t3/t4 60 trim turbo .63ar
18psi of boost 19 degrees total timing
adj cam gear w/ stock cams -3intake 0 exhaust
secondaries disabled
log manifold 2.25in DP
3intest pipe, 3in exhaust,
neptuneD

are there any suggestion as to what i should try to help bring up my tourqe /hp level.

I was thinking that a EL manifold and 3in DP would really help.
and maybe a different turbo.

but what key elements would i be looking to change on the turbo. A/r trim?
any h22 making similar # please post set-up.

thanks for the help boost heads,

later

Maybe a more traditional turbo cam, or bigger turbo. The cam with less overlap would probably give you more power where your peak tq is, I'm guessing around 5k. IMO the only way to more tq on a honda is to move farther up the powerband (and give it less of a traditional 'torquey' feel of v8's) or more displacement. Other than that, try a diff intake/exaust manifold and definately try to shoehorn a 3" dp in there.

try one of the new ball bearing t3/t4 turbo's recently released.

something like a SC61 BB, t3/gt40 BB or a t3/t04r BB

I would also recommend Cooling Mist's meth injection kit if you are going to try for that much torque on pump gas.

Good luck

I'd recomend cams to move the powerband up and bigger turbo with like .82ar and yeah water/meth injection.

why would he want to move the powerband up? and get a larger a/r turbo which would cause more lag?

That will do it...The car we prototyped our h22 manifold on made 312whp @ 7psi with a 60 trim t3/to4e...stock motor good luck

will your manifold fit a 5th gen prelude?
what mods required to make it fit?
