New turbo installed, manifold smokes/steams when car is warm???
I just installed a Drag Kit for my Integ and while testing, the manifold starts to smoke/steam. It looks like regular steam and does not smell to foul. Could this be just the film of gunk that was on the manifold from the factory burning off???
All oil lines are secure and working properly. I don't remember reading this in the manual or online while researching the install. There is also nothing in the Honda-tech archives.
Thanks

I would think that its all the coatings that are on the manifold when it leaves the factory.
Just like putting on new a header, it stinks for about a week just burning off all the stuff they put on when its being made.
POst the setup and dyno numbers

There was probably some fish liver oil on the manifold to keep it from rusting. Don't worry about it unless it persists.
