i will change my setup for more horsepower

already i have low 240hp and 229torqe with small t3 /42/48 on 14psi

question....

i will change my injectors from 440 to 550 ccm ??? is this enough for 300-350hp

i will change my turbocharger from t3 to gt30/71 is this enough for 330-350hp

new clutch stage 3

new ecu managend programming.

must i made a new biger downpipe for the turbocharger???

I think your 550cc injectors are still too small, consider 750cc. GT3071R is a good turbo but i would consider the GT3076 instead, its a little bit bigger but power comes on very hard and it still spools great. What size downpipe do you have now? 3" is ideal but if you have 2.5" that is ok for now if you don't have money for 3" though you will probably have to make a new downpipe because the GT turbo's are usually V-band.

550cc will be fine but don't push them any more then that(what I'm currently using). I wouldn't waste the money on a ebay turbo get a legit one and be done with hit.

I don't see why I'm not completely maxing out the duty cycle.

See the problem is blinx is everyone wants to play on the safe side or do as what ever one else does. For example on post 5 the OP doesn't need 3 inch to make 350whp he can use 2.5 its just going to have to be fine tuned.

i think you should consider 3076 instead of 3071, there is no noticable amount of spool gain from 3071 compared to 3076 and you will make more power with 3076 with a proper tune

I like the GT3071R a bit better, with a much lower torqueband than even the GT3076R. especially with the smaller roads in germany, the nice quick straights and subtle chicanes, the GT3071R is a better choice IMHO.

With that said, I would at least go to 660 injectors or slightly higher. 550cc can do 350whp, but that duty cycle is really up there in the 80% range.

I see your point, also depends on things like how high you rev the engine, you need a lot more fuel at 9000rpm compared to 8000rpm, i also agree that a 2.5" downpipe can support the power he wants but he will most likely need a new DP anyways so why not step up to 3" ya know?

allso i use ride now a watter injection kit , how gives 10-20hp on my car.

before i buy a 500 dollar manifold with thicker (bigger) diameters ???

Do yourself a favor and get a legit manifold. Im suprised that one hasnt cracked already.

Might as well try to find a good deal on a manifold/downpipe package

Not worth the investment for such an expensive and quality turbo. Get a quality manifold to boot. I know you're dealling w/ shipping and taxes, but your car will thank you for it.
