new turbo guy got lots of questions will some SOHC Turbo guy please have the patience and school a n
whats up guys, Well where to start, I guess i'll give my cars info and my build process...
94 civic Coupe DX
No power options no sun roof standard DX
Im Both in for it for Show and go, I know alot of you guys frown on that but yea what can I say I love the show scene and not only going fast but looking good doing it. Anyways heres what I have so far.
94 D16z6 head
Port and polished
port matched
3 angle valve job
All new seals
all new Hard ware
all new gaskets and so on
Zex 59300
Zex Valve springs
Crower retainers
Crower 1mm over sized valves
Brand new OEM Vtec soleniod
Hondata IM gasket
Venom Intake manifold
66mm AEM Throttle Body
Venom fuel rail
D16z6 Block
Eagle H beam rods
New oem oil pump
new oem Water pump
used oil pan with Turbo return line
Ok so apart from the Turbo goodies what else Do I need, this is what I know I need
AEM / Areomotive FPR
?? sized injectors ( I was told 550's would be ideal )
Pistons ( I planned on boreing the block and getting 1mm over sized pistons )
Can I use an D16a6 crank?
What size turbo should I get?
What CR pistons should I go with?
What size Down pipe and Exhaust should I run?
Im trying to stay in budget and get to boost asap, I havent heard to many good things about FMU's But I dont have the loot to throw down on a Stand alone but will in the near future.
What Size FMIC should I use?
is 300 whp unrealistic with good tuning and stock sleeves?
What else should I know Will you guys please school me?
