Default NEW SSautochrome turbo fitment

Im installing the new SS autochrome kit for a customer so please dont flame it has nothing to do with me...

Well I thought i was going to install the turbo like most kits (drag 3) with the compresson on the left,,, and the down pipe comming off with the right side of the motor...

but there is not way this turbo will fit this way,,, it hits the block way too much.. i even tried shaving it and it still dosent come close to fitting!!! so do I have to reverse the turbo and make the filter side on the right side???

let me know if anyone has installed their new kit!

thanks
Tyler

true, then shouldn't have tried to do that turbo setup. That manifold puts the turbo out very far. Could you fit in a civic or del sol rad?

PS: I know its not your car, don't mean anything bad.. I just did one like it but with an OBX manifold and it put the turbo almost into the front support.

you will have that. either easy dp and half size rad or chewed up block, funky dp, and full size rad.
i've always run the half size rads in my turbo civic. b's and d's and never had any cooling problem.
good luck
