new set up....replace H20 pump and timing belt?
Going to a new uberdata set up and taking some precautionary measures: Replacing headgasket with OEM headgasket on my B16. Replacing factory head studs with ARP ones.
question is, while im in there, would it be advised to replace pump and timing belt. Its an '00 Si with 49,000 original miles. (20k of so have been boosted).
Money is tight right now, so thats why i ask otherwise id just do it. would you advise this, or is it not an issue to worry about?

49K miles...well not really necessary, but then again better safe than sorry.
The parts itself is not that expensive, so I would say just go ahead and do it

i would say not to bother. The scheduled time for a belt is appro 100k. That is a safe # to shoot for.
If you are comfortable doing it yourself, then you don't have to worry about saving money by having it dne at once.
The way to save time and oney would be to just do it when it is scheduled.

Re: (Cray91)
true....i am confident i can do it myself (thats a non-issue)
However the $ used to purchase these two items i can use towards my needed head studs and fuel pump!
(on a sie note....best/cheapest place to buy these OEM parts besides hondaacuraparts.com)
