Default New motor and smoke and burning oil

Is it normal for a little brown smoke to come out of my exhaust when I get on it? And also my motor has been burning oil ever since it has been built. Not too much oil but it slowly goes down. The motor has about 3500 miles on it now. What do you all think?

do you see any oil in your engine bay like maybe a cam seal or if you are burning smoke Im sure it wasnt brown but probably more of a white color yes that is oil most likley from your head gasket or a ring seal but you dont want that to happen who built your motor for you? are you boosted right now as you are burning oil

no im not boosted right now and no I dont see any oil in my engine bay. Ive seen other cars do it too. When you get on it really hard and take off a puff of brown smoke will come out of the exhaust and thats what happened to me.

Mine does the same thing, Im boosted however. The motor has about 5k on it, and the compression is perfect so Im leaning toward the problem being my valve seals.

Couldn't the brown smoke on acceleration mean that you are running rich? If it was burning oil the smoke would be white or blue.
