Default new motor set up and n/a dyno

well i just picked up a new car that had this motor in it

jdm b18c
portflow head
crower valve train
itr cams

aebs sleaves
84mm
cp pistons
eagle big bolt rods

as of now its running on stock injectors and gm 3bar tuned with hondata s300

put down 173whp and 135tq

i wanted baseline numbers for pre turbo and post turbo

i have everything so far to turbo it except a manifold/turbo/downpipe

i want 400+ on pump but decent spool without spending over $900 and was wondering what everyone thought would be the best turbo wether it be a garret or bw etc

i would really like to run a top mount with it and have something v band also

as of now the parts i have are
intercooler
charge pipes
inline pro bov
innovative 42mm wastegate
rc 1,000's
walbro 255hp *already installed*

400 on what type of fuel?
what is max you would want?
you know the top mount won't spool as well as other choices for manifolds?
whats the reason for top mount?

How about a 57trim T3/T04E with an ATP divided turbine housing and a divided manifold? You'd pick more rpm than using baller bearings and an undivided manifold. Like anything 'special', the manifold will cost extra, as well as the turbo ($825). You could also get a GT32 with a divided housing for $765, it can make close to 400hp.

these are the types of things i want to look into, i only wanted a top mount for ease of install

i would like 400+ on pump gas to be honest, i doubt i will ever get race gas so pushing it to 500 with meth injection would also be a plus

gt3071r, BW s256 would be the better spooling non divided turbos t3t4 60 trim would prolly do the job

and the gt32 that hiprofile mentioned would work as well with a divided manifold

ask the shodan on here im sure he can lead you in the right direction

ya, the only thing about a divided manifold is im sure it will be more expensive, im really trying not to spend more than 2,000 on the manifold turbo and downpipe

bw 256 or gt3071 if you want to go cheaper on the mani and downpipe
t3t4 57 or 60 trim if you want to go cheaper on the turbo

i would go with the BW 256 or 258 if you could swing it
i've seen nothing but good out of the BW's

I don't think you should limit yourself with a turbo that will just get you by.

I would go with a 35R or 30R something along those lines.

i would love a 30R but these borg warner turbos are looking tempting

i guess it will come down to how much money i can afford in the spring time

and of course i appreciate the input john, i realize i probably wont run race gas, or atleast too often and i want a turbo that will get me power but not something that i max out on pump gas
