New Hit and Run manifold Design, lots of Pics
Hey guys, just wanted to post a picture of a manifold we finished for a customers car. Its for a sohc motor and allows you to fully retain A/C with almost no modification to its components. Just a bit of inspiration for everyone out there who wants to keep A/C but doesnt want to settle for a log manifold.
Ill update the thread tomorrow with more pictures of his complete turbo kit and more shots of the manifold. Funny thing when he ordered the manifold he said he wanted it to be A/C compatible, come to find out he only said that because he wanted to keep his heater. So the A/C was removed for additional working space.

It would be really nice if that was an equal lenght (doesnt look like it from the pic you showed) but for creativity.

Equal Length it is not, We did keep that in mind when it was designed, but certain factors interfered and we really didnt want to do any major mods to the car. Thanks for the

Believe it or not, only one of the nuts is difficult to put on, takes an extra 5 minutes just for that nut.

Re: (Vero)
Well, that manifold goes for $850.00 shipped. Ill have some more pics of where it places everything. Its a really nice manifold to fit a filter, charge piping and downpipe. Since its a d series motor, we built assuming the smaller t3 series of turbos would be used with it.

Word. I've been thinking up schematics for my next manifold that I'm going to make so I can put AC back into the car.

Re: (vietnameeh)
Well we havent dynoed the car yet (but we will) and im assuming he will make 210whp. Hes using a new t3 42/48 garrett turbo. Full 2.5" piping kit we fabbed up and a 6" tall fmic. Hes running on uberdata as we converted the car to obd1. Pushing 8 psi. Youll have an idea for the set up better when we post the pics and go into detail on the parts.

[QUOTE=littleredcivic]i noticed that everything looks real close to lots of plastic and foam...anything melt yet?[/QUOTE
]That could be easily remedied with some header wrap. Although I don't know if I would want to spend 850 dollars, and then have to buy some header wrap.

It comes with header wrap, gaskets and mounting hardware as all of our manifolds due (header wrap only for a/c manifolds that require it)

Oil stick on the sohc motors is to the right of the manifold .
Nice manifold, just a tad pricey. Do you guys make an equal length manifold that retains a/c?
