Default new d16z6 turbo build but smoking?!

just finished putting together a Z6 turbo build with a TD05 16g and the turbo has white smoke coming from it..so thought it was leaking oil so i went out and got another turbo and still the same thing white smoke ...i was wondering if the oil line is too big .....need help asap thanks

Post pictures of your feed and return lines. You "went out and got another turbo"? From where, exactly? Are you using any kind of restrictor?

Images that aren't even showing on my computer...granted, the formatting looks right, so it might just be my work network blocking them, which is seems a little schizo about doing

haha I was thinking the same thing and ghetto as hell. Get some nice braided lines and do it right. Oil would be blue smoke, coolant is white

If you're burning a large amount of oil, it will also be white. The main tell is the smell. I guarantee his is oil smoke lol. It may just be the pictures, but it doesn't even look like there's a drain either...

So, those pictures you posted show the feed line (which looks like you cut up some garden hose, what the ****), and your water line (which also looks like cut up garden hose, also, what the ****), but not your return line. Get some real lines on there, and you still need to post a picture of your return line. Given the uh...attention to detail, I'd bet it's all sorts of fucked up.

nevermind that oil feed line laying almost on the #1 runner.

lets play a game - i spy...ill go first.

i spy....an ebay exhaust manifold

i strongly recommend using at least the lower timing belt cover..ugh

LOL thanks for the input negative and positive...yup lot of ebay stuff cause i got a 350z im working on as well that is taking up all my cash LOL
