New Build, Wont turn over HELP!
Ok i have a gsr that i recently built with a new .20 pistons and rods, balanced crank , new oil pump , new water pump. I primed the engine a couple of times and the put the spark plugs and fuel pump connector back on. It turned over about 3 times, didnt fire, then it just stopped. The fuel pump wont come on and the starter wont activate. So i got a brand new battery, tested the starter, got a new main relay and still nothing happens. I was reading in my manuel about if the the motor goes under 4.3 psi of oil pressure the fuel pump wont turn on? But i have no idea what is goin on, any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

oil pressure sender is most definately not wired to the fuel pump.
It won't turn over at all? Not even a click?

this might be a dumb question but there are 3 wires connected to the starter right? Power, ground and a signal wire?

i dont see how the main relay can be good and when i jump the fuel pump it works , it still seems like the relay is not doing its job, but when i hooked it up to my batt it worked fine

Re: (mademan2723)
no ecu codes? I had a bad ecu which didn't kick the fuel pump on. i had a solid code on my ecu, no flashes. put in a ecu from another car and it fired right up. didn't have any problems with starter though, maybe there's a starter fuse or relay or connection bad

Re: (ramennoodles)
oh yeah I saw a thread about people blowing some voltage regulater in the ECU, which prevents the fuel pump to turn on... you should check that out at least, open the ecu...
now that I think of it, not sure if it was a capacitor that burns out instead, I'll try to find the thread.
