Default New billet Compressor wheel in a older generation turbocharger?

I have a garret T3/t67 turbo 70 a/r compressor housing and .63 a/r exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has tried to use a newer generation billet compressor wheel on a older generation turbocharger like a precision billet wheel or a garrett 11 blade wheel?.

It's been done. There are some companies that do complete upgrades provided that the original turbo is in good condition from the start. They run about 500-600 on average. No one ( of any repute) will sell a wheel independently to you to try and upgrade yourself

T4+GT28 turbine side is a bad idea. I think it is not a good idea to mess parts between series

Let's say you had a billet 6765 and a rock or some debris got in the compressor wheel and messed it up. precision or garrett wouldn't send you another compressor wheel if you wanted to purchase one?. What does this upgrade consist of?

No. they would not send you another wheel. You would send it in to Precision to have it replaced. they will not send out wheels by themselves.

On the Garrett GTX series, you would also send it in to an authorized Garrett Dealer/ facility so that they can send it to Garrett directly for replacement under their exchange program. A piece of debris is considered to be an owner's error, so you'd have to pay for that.

If its originally a Precision part, it MUST be sent to precision.
If its a Garrett Journal bearing T67 or 61mm or something of that regard, it all depends upon the condition of the rest of the turbo, housing, turbine wheel, etc. As in some cases its better to just replace than to try and repair.
