New addition to my family of cars...
Well I have been looking for a Toyota Celica All Trac for awhile, but since they are a pretty rare car I havent been able to find one locally. Our local classified paper came out on Friday, and saw one for sale. I went to look at it that night. Next morning I was driving this home:
The car was hit on the passenger side, needs a new door, fender, bumper and the rear quarter pulled:
The engine bay sports a 3S-GTE engine aka MR-2 turbo engine:
You have to love AWD, 2.0 liter turbo power:
The car is rough, and after driving the car for 5 minutes today the rod bearing went. The car was put through a pretty good beating through its life. Its getting a fresh 3S-GTE engine and the usually turbo goodies.

Re: New addition to my family of cars... (boosted hybrid)
I picked up the car for 1000.00, which is a steal i think. It needs about 2,000 dollars in body work and paint (which I have a hook up on, so it probably would be 5-6K from a body shop). The car is getting a a 2nd gen 3s-gte engine since they are cheaper, I have located one in Philly for 1000.00 hopefully picking that up sometimet this week. The turbo is gone on this one for sure, but the new engine has one that is supposed to be good. I have to hold myself back from doing any mods to extensive to the car since I already have a money pit of a civic.
I'll be making a 3" dp, 3" exhaust straight back. Intake with K&N. Boost gauge, turbo timer and bov. Shocks, springs and Falken Azenis are also on the list. I just want to have something different than a Honda to drive, and something good in the winter. Also since the car weights 3,200 lbs its going on a big weight reduction diet.

Actually they are the exact same turbo except the one on the celica is a twin entry ceramic turbo and a whole lot better than the one that comes on the MK III supra. Thats a cool ride man. My best friend has a 90 celia GTS with the 3s swap. It doesn't have the awd, but it does have a huge weight advantage on you. His car put down 215whp and 266 torque at 15psi. Mods were stock turbo, 3 in turbo back, intake, HKS cam gears. Car went 13.5 at 107. We are getting ready to put a t3/t4 on at the same boost should be over 300whp. Good luck with your project. There are some sick cars on the all trac boards. Here is a pic of his.
