Looks like a decent SFWD setup, but Pro-Am? You sure about that?
I see a Peakboost T3 ramhorn mani, Tial 35/38mm WG, rusted dumptube, etc...
Looks like a typical H-T FI forum 400whp pump gas build.

Pro-AM is the true name for this SFWD Class! And Im not stoping till I hit 600HP! Plus all of the cars in the class are full racecars I sill drive this to work!
Why is H-T full of hatters?

Actually I'm not a hatter or a hater, but thanks for trying.
I figured Pro-Am was a set-up from SFWD, in regards to equipment and other power/speed-related items. You've got run of the mill SFWD parts on your car, not Pro-Am level stuff. Not "hatting", just letting you know.

no, you're just being a douche...this forum is full of people posting their setups, if you don't like it, why bother checking them out, let alone wasting your time telling them their parts are "run of the mill". why waste you're time is all.
BTW Merry Xmas

Re: New For 2007 Dsport Pro AM fWD Ek! (wHOAlly)
Jaren is right. The IDRC Pro-Am was the FIRST Heads up class for street cars. NHRA then kind of copied the IDRC and made their own class called SFWD. The NHRA added that you must have an Exhaust and matching front seats. IMO the SFWD class wouldnt even exist without the IDRC crew looking out for the grass roots racer. Now look, EVERYONE wants 700+ HP and a 9 secong street car.
Thanks to the IDRC for being here. My car has always been a PRO-AM car

Because it's a daily driven street car that appeals to the magazines customer base. It's not like he had a full spread, it's a 1/4 page review. Give the guy a break and quit being a *****.

Nice work on this car the bay and the color look very nice. I like the wastegate fittings and lines nice touch man. valve cover is cool as well. Keep up the good work I pick up most dsport issues due to the light they shed on the honda camp and the "all in the family" turbo spreads. Good luck on your goals I hope you hit them!!

I wasn't hating on the guy at all, or being a douche. It's not that I don't like his setup or anything, I just thought that Pro-Am was on a level above SFWD. My bad I guess.

Re: New For 2007 Dsport Pro AM fWD Ek!
so this was the setup you were talking about at the starbucks in norwalk! but shouldnt talk about a setup thats wasnt going to be ready for awhile... clean though...
should do well looks like some good parts.. but what im thinking is if your street car is trying to be a race car it cant do the 2 things at once!
I dont doubt you or your driving skills but sfwd or pro-am cars are faster now then they were when it was pro-am. You sure those parts will be enough to be competitive versus the 40 & 42r's out there!

I won't hate on this car. Looks nice and have lots of respect for the dude and the D-Sport crew! They are a bunch of racers that care about the scene
