There are obd1 P72's.
I can't remember the coding, but looking at the plugs is a super fast way of checking it.

as stated, there are obd1 p72's.
look at the plugs. each connection should have 2 rows of pins. if there are 3 rows, it is obd2.
quick google search says it is an obd 2a gsr. but looking at the plugs will definately tell you.
