need wiring help for AEM+MSD digital 6
trying to hook up the msd digital 6 ignition with the aem computer on a 92 civic with obd1 gsr motor(usdm gsr wiring harness)...mostly need to know how to wire in the 2step with the aem, but other then that any help on the other wiring would be appreciated. the msd directions are kinda unclear so specific wire colors, wire locations, ect... would be good:-) thanx

not sure about using the aem 2step or not...its actually for a friend that im posting and a guy that he talks to said you have to wire in the msd a little different with the aem, and something about with the 2step...so i figured if it did have to be wired in differently someone might know, but like i said im not to familar with it

ok we got most the stuff figured out...just not sure how to hook up the timing retard or the 2step....or since he has the aem, do we need to even hook those up?...looks like the timing retard is a one stage, so would that even work with boost? the ignition doesnt have a port or anything like the msd btm?.....any input?

No need for MSD timing retard used with any stand alone--use that to do what you need with the timing map.
