Need a Tuner to Phone-Tune My Car
Hello all,
Can you tune my setup?
94 jdm b18c
jrsc(stock boost)
255 walbro highpressure
2.5 inch exhaust
lightwieght flywheel
itr header
plx m300
labtop
Want to purchase hondata s300 as soon as I find a tuner
I was wondering if any tuners would like to take a stab at tuning my car over a cell phone while I'm doing the actual tuning on my labtop. .
I have read quite a bit about the actual tuning process on pgfmi.
I've also downloaded crome and tinkered around with basemaps.
I wan't to get rid of this fmu and get some real management.(RIch at idle, lean in boost)
I'm not expecting any freebies here either, I am paypal verified.
If you are interested or know someone who may be let me know.
Summers wastin' away!!
Thanks,
98civic94gsr-sc

I've heard of people getting their car tuned over the internet. In windows xp their is a way you can let someone take control of your computer. As long as your labtop has wireless internet it can be done. I beleve mase tuned a car like this before. Good luck.

I've seen it done.
We also tune through emails and the phone..... just because the car isn't running right in front of you doesnt make it impossible.

Hey I've heard of it being done before. I live in Northern Michigan where their is no import scene whatsoever. The nearest tuner would be like 500 miles away.
I see no other option but to do it myself. I know their has got to be a tuner out there that will do it for the right price
wantboost and allmotor just because you can't do it doesn't mean somebody else can't. Do you either of you have a boosted car? just curious because your names....

oo, trying to start **** eh...
yes i do own a boosted car, ive owned many of them. whats your point.
im jnust thinking that its not an very efficient way to go about tuning, although it would work.

You'd need to do the tuning from a dyno facility that had internet connection though.
If I were in your situation I'd be VERY conservative with the ignition retard. no less than 1* per psi. Then plug the wideband in and have Hondata autotune the sucker. The results will be decent at best but it will be better than nothing. Either that or sit down for the next week and read the basics for EFI tuning. For that you can either buy one of those books on amazon or for more specific information http://www.hondata.com http://www.pgmfi.org http://www.uberdata.pgmfi.org http://www.aem.com http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/ http://www.evans-tuning.com https://honda-tech.com
All of those sites have a wealth of information which if you sit down and really search you can learn a whole lot really quickly. Just be VERY conservative with your tuning.
