i have a 00 civic si wit fully built bottom end ( je pistons, eagle rods, sleeved, bored to 84mm, and head has new seals nd stuff) thas bout it wit the head, tuning wit hondatas200 w/ boost option. i had it tuned first wen the internals were stock and it got me 255whp from tech3 in san jose.. anyone knw anyone else they wuld reccomend? its a daily driven car, maybe sumone knws sumone whos a pro at this?

hondata and boost.....kevin from midnght since you in elk grove. im not a fan of midnight and their ridiculous price on **** but kevin is pretty good with hondata and turbos.

iono bout midknight.. i heard bad stuff about them. an insider from there told me they use the same base map for every car and jus mess around wit it? i dnt knw wats up wit them but i heard stuf fromto many people. i dnt mind the drive as long as its 2 hours radius. i jus moved here from the bay so i dnt mind driven der if ders sumthn good for me over there. heard of dnr? i belive thas the name, its not comin to my head.. heard lots of good stuffff but cant get a hold of them = /

+1 for kevin and warren @ midnight... some may say that they're on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.

I wouldn't spend xx g's on my motor and then go cheap on a shitty tune and blow it up.

They are definitely pros at tuning hondata.

Oh how i love honda-tech, lol. no we "DO NOT" use the same base map for every car! that is just ridiculous. whoever is telling you this doesnt have a clue. anyway whoever you choose, weather it be us or the people mentioned, will do just fine.

I dont know the Midnight company, but I have to commend them on replying in a very professional manner. Rather than get upset, they simply set the record straight. They even complemented the other shops.
Nice to see a company take the high road and show some class!

i would recomend tech 3...Ryan tunes over there motec,hondata,crome...reasonable price also...ryan use to tune chads car...

im not sure what was the guys name who tuned my car first time at tech3, but i do knw he works at the san leandro honda dealer.. he did good the first time i got my car tuned and i had heard he was good. i thought maybe people knew sumone else who was good at that as well.. thanks for ur guys recomendations.. appreciate it
