need to take out around .002...bore needed or can it be honed out?
I have endyn stock bore pistons and it says that w/ the correct piston/wall clearance, they will end up having a 3.191 final bore..i guess they do this to give you more clearance options with stock bore. That means that ill need to take out about .002" to get the correct .0028 clearance. Isn't .002 small enough that it can just be honed out? I dont really need a bore unless im going .020 right?

You need to hone that out...... Usually at the machine shop i work at we leave .002 to .003 to hone out. If its .010 over we will bore it .008 and hone out the rest, that way it is precise and you dont over bore. A good stone hone will take care of that. Thats too small to bore.
