Need suggestion on which valve locks to buy
So for my B16 head I bought Ferrea turbo Valves and Supertech Valve springs and retainers.
I am debating if I should buy Ferrea Valve locks or Supertech. What do you guys suggest and why?
I will be using either gsr or itr, or any mild turbo cam so daily driving.
b20b/vtec turbo
eagle rods
supertech 9.5:1 pistons
t3/t4 .57trim
400whp is the goal

I run stock locks with the competition plus valves . No problems for several years now . Ferrea told me oem was fine . The head was at the machine shop recently to get a freshen up with stiffer valve springs and all looked good . 740whp/9500 rpm fyi .

I hate to say what's been said 1000x
You really shouldnt mix valvetrain products. Ferrea valves use a different lock location compared to the supertech's I've been down this road and ended up with inadequate retainer to valve seal clearance with a moderatly high lift cam. Ferrea locks need to be used with Ferrea retainers. Search and you will understand why.
This is the exact combination I had trouble with (although Ferrea doesnt make "turbo" valves) GSR or ITR cams will probably be ok.

I am running Supertech 85#springs and titanium retainers with Ferrea competition plus valves and Ferrea locks. My machinist is very meticulous and said that everything spec'd out great. You can visually see the quality difference between a machined Ferrea lock and a stamped stock lock.

That's not only not true but pretty irrelevant, I don't go around pretending to know anything I don't, and the op said he ordered ferrea valve train already, so quit wasting key strokes.

Exhausts are a little heavier
Compared to GSR valves.

ITR, GSR and B16 PR3 exhausts are all the same correct?
ITR intakes are the only difference, lighter?
Wait... that little dished Ferrea is heavier than the flat-faced stock exhaust?
I'll go borrow my kid's weed scale.
