so i know there are a couple of you out there who know everything about everything, and i need some opinions on what tranny i should use for my set up. i will be running on the the street most of the time and occationally going to te track, mostly becuase the nearest track is about 3 hours away from me.

i run a fully built gsr, 10 psi, and a i will be taking it to 9500rpm when racing. i have been hearing mixed reviews on what tranny from friends and techs. some people say ls others say stay with the gsr, what do you think?

also i heard from one person to get bothe the ls and gsr, crack them open, use the ls fisrt gear, gsr 2nd and 3rd and then use the ls 4th and 5th, has anyone done this before?

sounds sketchy but i remember reading the first reviews on combining and ls bottom end and a gsr head and a lot of people said it was sketchy, so i am wondering if this tanny combo will work?

i did do a search, but i couldnt find any info on cracking the trannys

you've got a 9500 rev limit and i'm sure you'll be using 24.5" slicks.....i'd run(and have in the past) the b16 tranny.....as long as your reving 9500.
