so i'm looking to replace my turbo with gt3076. i want it with the .82 ar. when I look at gt30s available, they're available with all sorts of different sizes of things.

whatever gt30 i buy I plan on replacing the exhaust housing with a tial vband housing. does that mean I can buy whatever used gt30 i can find since im' replacing it with the tial vband .82 housing, and the turbo will then be a gt30 .82 a/r? or are there other factors involved? does the cold side housing vary in different sizes, like intake inlet and whatnot?

Nope, you can take a GT3076R and replace it with a .82 TiAL v-band. just make sure your manifold can hold the TiAL v-band as a manifold outlet. Otherwise you can use T3 GT 3" turbine outlet v-band instead.
