Need some help choosing exh size..
Sorry, this is a newbie type question, but a search won`t yield any results as nobody has this setup.
Setup: 2 liter GSR fully built JRSC`d. Using a Comptech 2.5" full race header.
2.5" or 3"?
I`ve planned on 2.5" for quite sometime, but lately I`m debating over 3". Once I up the boost 8lbs, it should be making about the same power as turbo`d cars that do really well w/ 3".
Any thoughts?
Ryan

Re: Need some help choosing exh size.. (b18bturbo)
You have to know with an 3inch exhaust it is the loudest exhaust sound you ever hear on a JRSC setup. I was in the same boat. I welded in an carsound cat and an mid-pipe resonator into my 3inch Thermal exhaust and it was better, but very loud tho.
If I had to do it again, I would give the Thermal 3" silent version (with midpipe resonator) a try. The cat is a must, if you want to hear something from your stereo.

Yeah, this doesn't make for a good stereo experience..
So I went ahead and did this to quiet the exhaust since adding a Dynomax bullet didn't help much...
lol

You should hear what I drive now
Art-I dropped him a line last week. Looks like a good deal
I do plan on running a cat and resonator.
