Need some advice from the turbo VETS!!!
Well guys (or girls if it applies), I have a H22 with a GT35R and stock internals. The rings are letting go and I am faced with couple of options.............
A. Do I just buy a set of Mahle pistons, eagle rods and hone it?
B Do I tear it down, send the block off, have it sleeved and then buy a set of pistons/rods?
What do you guys think? I just cant see spending money to sleeve it if I dont have to. Its a solid deck block so Im not really worried about the floating cylinders.
Thanks.

depends on what u want u want big hp send it out to get it resleved or if not keep it in the 400 hpw range just get forged internals h22 should hold 400 on stock slevees with the right tuning

Re: Need some advice from the turbo VETS!!! (super-hatch)
Im just not sure of the long term outcome with the Mahle pistons. I cant just use forged pistons with the cylinder coating the H22 has. I was making close to 400whp on stock internals at 12lbs.
