Default Need solution for Turbo Inlet filter!!! No room for normal filter

I see other people running screens, but I want a more effective filter with no space. I ran a steel mesh screen with foam over it...that worked well, but restricted flow like a ****. Does anyone have a solution that will literally work with no space?

I went to homeboy depot, they had a piece of aluminized ducting with a 4" slip fit that immediately turned into a shallow box that takes off at a 90 degree angle. The rectangular box/tube is thin enough to fit between driver's frame rail and IC endtank.

Not ideal, but not much in this world is.

I'm in the same situation, no room. I'm looking to build a box of some sort with a pipe leaving the box to go out somewhere to a filter. Hard to run 4" pipe anywhere tho .

For track days will be another box/headlight substitution, non filtered. This will be easy to do tho compared to trying to obtain filtered air.

Any pics of this box you got at home depot?

I've lost my digicam. More than happy to snap a few when I find it, but I won't remember.
