Default Need opinions on setup(Fuel System, tires, intake manifold, v band piping)

I am currently running 85mm sleeved and o ringed block Full race spec 35r with a top mount. Power fc standalone Going between 600-700whp.

1. Golden Eagle IM or Full RaceIM? Im using a precicion 750hp front mount and 3in diameter piping with v bands.

2. What throttle body would work with those manifolds?

3. As far as using v bands, is it safe to weld the flanges on to the intercooler and the throttle body?

4. The car is going to be ran on radials what is the biggest size I can go with?

5. Fuel system 1600cc injectors....What kind of pump? Lines? Should I go with a fuel cell? And what else would I need....(eventually going up to a dual gate top mount with gt4094 turbo)

I think thats it...

My .02

1. Full-race
2. I dunno. I run an AIR manifold and 64mm TB with 2.5" Ic piping.
3. Yeah, but in doing so doesn't allow for much flexibility. Make sure you are dead on as they are not very forgiving when it comes to alignment.
4. What car do you have? GMC truck? God knows you can't make 700whp in a Honda.
5. Aeromotive Eliminator is a nice pump and will support what you want. -8/-10 feed and a -8 return. Keep the stock tank unless this is a race car.

ive seen some posts questioning the quality of full-races intake manifolds as they are not very appeasing to the eye (despite the pretty pic on the website) and that they didnt seem "full-race quality at all".
i would go with an edlebrock victor x manifold and then port and polish the inside, and then portmatch the runners as well as the throttle body side.
a lot of people use mustang throttle bodies (75mm) or full-race has some large ones, ive also seen people running wilson or accufab too.
i might consider welding the v-bands to the endtanks of the intercooler, but i wouldnt do so on the throttle body.
go with bfg sportmax radials and it all depends on your rim size and if you remove the fender lining.
id leave the stock tank, unless its strictly drag. then youll want the fuel cell and cut a hole in the rear floor to run the line through and use a gravity fed pump or even dual pumps depending on hp to the front.
good luck

What I listed will get it done. You better look at a good boost controller too. One that will let you boost by gear. I run around occasionally on 600ishwhp and my 235/60/15 MHs won't hook unless I drop the boost in 1-3rd.

I would run wiggins clamps over v-band, it allows for a little movement (about 4 degrees) so less likely for things to crack if the motor rocks.

Great reason to build a car buddy!

BTW, you are gonna get rapped on the street if you plan on running 600-700. Good luck with that.

haha sadly, you are right, unless you do a 80-160 pull.

i think you can use bead rolled ic pipes with good silicone couplers and t bolts and be ok...

maybe a 225.50.15 bfg???...

He will be fine. Boost by gear, MH or MT tires and 40-160 is about good.

Yea its a little different in NY...Most races where i live are for big money on a interstate from a 3rd gear roll. And with 600-700 at the wheel im guaranteed to beat 95% of the cars that are on the street. Also at the end of summer Im doing a dogbox with ls gear ratios. I think its going to do wonders with a split housing 40r.

LS gear ratios FTL!

BTW...I make the power you want, run regular T-bolt clamps, AL IC Piping that has been bead rolled and never once had an issue about blowing couplings/piping, etc. off.

Races like that happen a lot in Tampa and Miami area too.

I believe the Full-Race intake manifold is designed to use Honda as well as Mustang throttle bodies.
