Need Lots of Help with Turboing my R!
Ok, so I have finally decided to turbo my R... Most likely I am going to go with a Drag III Turbo kit, unless there are better ones. In order to run as safe as possible (engine wise), what other mods and parts am I going to have to do/buy? Pistons? FPR? etc.... Any help would be great. Also, what is the average boost people are running on their Rs? My goal is anywhere in the 12s... (preferably on street tires.)
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Chris

standalone is a computer that replaces/modify your stock ECU to read boost, you will have full control of timing and fuel.

won't I need to lower my compression and such? How many pounds of boost will I need to run, in order to hit 12s on street tires?

How much boost are you running, and what 1/4 times? Maybe not 12s on street tires hehe... More like low to mid 13s...

don't get me wrong. 12's in a type r w/ st tires is totally possible. its just you'll need most of the things i'm talking about.
i run mid 11's on slicks when my cars running good. 11.70's to 12.0 when its not.
12.60's-12.80's on street tires.
also....its not about the boost....its about the horsepower and torque. you'll need 300+ hsp and that means lowered compression or EXTREMELY fine tuning(which usually leads to premature faiure for the average person)

I have a turbo R. I took it to the track and ran high 12's low 13's easy on STREET TIRES.
I have a stock internals and a differnt headgasket to lower my compression. I made 320hp with a drag gen III and standalone (hondata).
