Default Need an intake for my turbo thinking of making an airbox... Opinions wanted...

I originally wanted to make an airbox using a k&n cone filter in the box and then a pipe heading behind the bumper to feed the airbox with cold air... Due to the way I designed my charge pipes and bov placement there really want a way for me to accomplish that... So I altered my design and this is what I came up with...
I will be using a k&n panel filter measuring 8" x 7" and a 3" pipe going from the airbox to the compressor...

Heres another view

Filter Im thinking of using

What do you guys think? Good idea or bad idea? Heres a little background on the car and turbo...
