NEED IMMEDIATE TURBO D-SERIES HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so we bought a turbo kit for my friends D16Y8 and we're curious to what we are missing and what do we need to finish and run the kit.
We need to know if we can what all these parts are?
and this?
and this metal line which the guy says is an oil tap line
And can we plug this hold or do we need to (its the left hole on the manifold)
What pipin are we missing?
What is this nozzle for?
And which one of this nozzles do we tap for oil in the oil pan
Thanks guys, and yea i know we are noobs at turbo...

last picture is the return oil line fitting, It runs the oil from the turbo back to your oil pan
first pic last ? is you wastegate (Internal) Common for greedy turbo
The 3 holes on you manifold are for a heat sheild It does not have to be pluged

if you guys are asking these questions maybe you should have somebody with some experience help you put this together or you may have some serious issues.
first pic: that tap on the manifold is nothing, its just a heat shield mount. the braided line is the oil feed (goes to the back of the block). On the right is the wastegate, leave it the way it is, it looks right.
Bottom pic is the oil drain: goes back to the oil pan.
3rd from bottom pic: you dont need that, just leave it open or plug it.
If that is all you have then you need alot more to finish the kit: injectors? ECU/management? downpipe? oil fittings? intercooler?

(Left to right) - Bolt hole for heat shield (you don't need it); Oil Feed Line; Wastegate Actuator
Vacuum line from wastegate to compressor housing
Oil feed line
You don't need to plug it. It's a hole for the heat shield, which is unnecessary. Don't worry about it.
You're missing the exhaust downpipe, the second pipe from the compressor to the intercooler, and the intercooler. You're missing the oil lines as well.
You run a line from this nozzle to the tapped oil pan.
You guys sound like you have absolutely no clue what you're doing. Find a friend who has a turbocharged car who can help you, you guys are as lost as a blind man at a titty bar.

I'm surprised you knew which part was the turbo, go read like one thread and you'll learn everything you need. I hope you're not installing this yourselves because that motor is done if you do.
