need help with this TURBO SET UP!??!
hello
this is my first turbo install and i dont know wat to do rith now
and please tell me if my setup is good or not and wat u think about
my setup and wat do i need for finish this turbo install? this kits going
in to 97 civic HX so.... here is info
this is wat i got
T3 turbo
custom naifold, down pipe
side mount intercooler & pipes
vortech 12:1 fmu
blitz BOV
blitz dual turbo timer
turbo XS boost controller
oil, coolant lines
2 steel braided fuel line
WAT U GUYS THINK>??

Doesn't sound bad or anything. What about a wastegate? Tuning? Side mount intercooler? I'd look into a front mount. Not sure where you would mount a side mount on a honda. Could just be my own ignorance though.

you might not need the boost controller. what did that T-3 come from? stock boost might be good enough. i didnt see a wastegate listed, so i assume it's some sort of stock issue T3.
personally, i dont trust the FMU method. but if you're going in that direction, you need a pump. the walbro 255 in-line hi-pressure pump is good. also, it's good to get a fuel pressure gauge. dont try for more than 8lbs of boost.
you will probably want to get an EGT gauge. also, an air filter.
what side kona you from man? i hear GOLDBERG is the man to talk to up there
