need help pls mini me turbo
ok guys i have a d15b7 with a z6 head i want to know if it will be ok to run a greddy turbo kit on it with out blowing it

no i just want it to be fast and a DD i just built it.....its a d15b7 block with a d16z6 and a y8 head gaskit...... the only problem im having is now its over heating and i dont know why i dont even know if i should still put the turbo on

is there any reason it would over heat now???? it never did befor the head swap could it be because i dont have the right dizzy and manifold or because the head might be warped????

did you say you removed the thermostat completely, if so put one back in. there is a reason for them.
Also if you started with a d15b7 chances are it had a paper type head gasket. these tend to fall apart when replacing them so you need to scrape the head surface to fully remove the old gasket. you could have scratched the block surface which could be leaking coolant. which would result in overheating.

no i removed the head gasket with a razor making sure not to nick the block and its not leaking....and i do have the thermostat i just took it out to see if that would help but it did not. so i put it back in....i really dont know what to do it wasnt doing this befor i put the head on

Have you timed the motor yet? a mini has a bit more compression that stock, add that to an advanced distributor, id say it'll run hot. either that or you screwed up the install

well im going to take it apart tomorrow and get the head checked so lets see what happens that means i have to do it all over again.....and i wanted to ask does it matter that i have the d15b7 dizzy on it will that make it over heat.....or change the timming

wow that is diff does anyone have one that i can buy???? i have a qustion what do u guys think i have a b16a also that sitting in my back yard but the problem with that is it came out of a ef so i have the complet swap for an ef not ej do u guys think i should rebuild the mini me or i should just buy the stuff i need to put the b16 in????? what do u guys think

No i was just irritated that a swap like the mini-me wouldn't be research prior to doing.
Hard to expect people to take time and help, when you didn't take the 5 sec to google search "mini-me" swap. so......
