Need Help Please Noob ???s b4 tuning (eg6 gsr turbo) is it ready? mix messages
ok this is what going on, im getting ready to go dyno tune my car, and have ?s, some peeps told me to make sure everything is okay b4 going to the shop. this is what I have stock motor, old t3/t4 drag kit,rc 440,7lbs wastgate, greddy bov, missing link (planning to tune on chrome).. I tested the vehicle with:
1.stock ecu vafc hack could only go up to 7,000 rpm them bogs out..
2. 12:1 fmu stock injectors with stock ecu goes to 8000 rpm but when in boost feels like something is hold it back not full potential.
3. 12:1 fmu stock injectors with (chipped all motor skunk 2) ecu runs great and powerful.
4.used a chrome tuned for same setup as what i have but with skunk 2 manifold runs really rick and could not idle. alot of white smoke
5. chrome (base map) ruff idle
now some peeps says its not ready... bad missing link or timing or map sensor already changed map twice so not map),electrical.
I say i just need to go tune it. but? what do you think?

1. Don't Use the AFC ever again
2.Don't use the FMU ever again.
3. Don't use that chipped ECU combo ever again.
4. It's running ruch because you're not tuned at all yet. That's the point in going. The base map of the chrome is to get you there. Don't go into positive pressure and go the dyno. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200..

that what i thought i had to do. but some peeps are telling me different. i call the tunner they said it just need its own tunning there should be nothing wrong.
