need help on my b16a2 turbo!!!!
I have a 00 Honda civic si with a greddy TD-4H turbo with 8lbs boost. When I replaced all the intake piping I did not reconnect the hose that leads from one part of the intake into the breather on the valve cover. Instead I put one of those long black hoses. Now I realize that I am leaking oil from that hose. What can I do to cover that up (something practical and not permanent). Anyone else who is using a similar turbo setup may know, but any advice would be helpful. ALso is that OIL LEAK NORMAL???? IS NOT A LOT BUT I heard that i need a catch can..DO I REALLY NEED THAT OR THERES IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY ENGYNE THERE ISN'T ANY SMOKE COMING OUT VALVE COVER BREATHER.

sounds like blow by. It's shouldn't be a major problem, it's just a result of the extra pressure in the crankcase from the turbo.

you can attach a piece of hose from the stock breather tank on the back of the block to a slashcut in the exhaust (after cat if you have one) or to a slashcut in the intake pipe before the turbo. This will put a vacuum on the crankcase, maybe it'll help you out. a 3/8" i.d. hose (i think) is what i used, it fit right in the breather tank nice and snug. good luck.

ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS??? SINCE I HAVE extra pressure in the crankcase from the turbo WHAT WILL BE THE CONSEQUENCES IN THE LONG RUN??? WHAT SHOULD I DO IN ORDER TO STOP THE LEAKING FROM THE COVER VALVE BREATHER??? OR IS IT NORMAL FOR THE BREATHER TO HAVE OIL???

SHUT THE F UCK UP AND LISTEN.
you need a catch can, plain and simple. there is no way around it. and yes a little oil out of the valve cover breather is fine.
now, SEARCH under the name DASHER hes got THE write up on how to do a catch can on a turbo honda. now, stop posting and go READ. you dont need to post every time u have a question. thats what the SEACH button is for.
i guess making it red didnt get it through ANYONES head

To the original poster, if you DO NOT install a catch can you can sure as **** kiss your pistons goodbye, and possible your cylinder walls as a result.
