check ur wires for the vtec
make sure you have enough oil
make sure your car warms up to the correct temperature
These are some basic things. I think there are a few more things the ECU checks before it allows VTEC to engage. Someone should be able to shed more light.

this is why i asked what he has checked for, cause there are alot of things to go over.
just like you stated about the wires, do you have continuity to the ecu pinouts for your wires? The oil level will also determine if it will work, but in this case if your oil pressure sensor on the solenoid is activated you will get a CEL. Does you vss work? Have you checked the screen on the backside of the solenoid itself to see if anything is blocking the oil passage? Have you manually activated the solenoid to make sure it works correctly? Has the head/engine been apart recently?

AHHHHH ....What size vtec line did you use??? SInce you have a turbo feed..and If you used a larger external vtec oil line then you were suppose to ...then you will lose pressure and vtec wont work. What size oil line are you using?

ok lets see we've checked
vtec wires
changed out solenoid to a different one.
tuner used a switch vtec still didnt pop.
checked for dow pins their there.
the vtec line looks pretty big ill take pics in a bit.
its a hondata ecu.
i let my friend use my ecu and his vtec pops
there was a check engine light code 22 but we fixed that vtec still doesnt pop..
what can it be?
