need help with intercooler install on 90 hf crx with b16a
well the intercooler i have is too large to fit in the front of the bumper. what intercooler do i need and does anyone have one. here's pics of the one that won't fit. i believe i need one that is about half the size of the one that i have. the one that i have right now is 3.5 inches thick and about 8 inches tall. when i measured i need one that is 2 inches thick and about 6 inches tall to fit. can anyone help me out. everything is ready to go besides installing and making the piping for it. i now have an intercooler that won't work up for sale also. i know it will fit on 93 and up civics.

Im guessing he either remvoed his bumper support and did some extreme trimming on the bumper or probably both.

that's what i figured as that is larger than the one that i have that won't fit. anyone know of one that will fit?

Your gonna have to do soem modifycation to your bumper. Cut out what needs to be vout out to make it fit in there and zip tie it to mount it. Or you could do some tig welds.

starion intercooler fits perfectly behind the stock bumper. However you can get anything to fit if you remove the bumper support.
