Default Need help installing hondata s200 to a p75 ASAP!

Okay I need help installing this s200 system. I understand where to soder the 28 pin, 74hc373, and the cn2 1-4. Now what do I do with the 2 medal wicks and the 2 blue and clear plastic things?
What else has to be done in order for this to work?

I downloaded the manual but the instructions just aren't to clear for me to understand.

I'm sorry for the noob question but I would really appreciate if someone could help me ASAP.

Thanks,
Roy

what is a medal wick? If you follow the instructions word for word from the installation manual it will work. I believe the "blue plastic things" are wire connectors to tap into the check engine light circuit for the shift light.

So what does the instructions mean by solder in J1 and cut J12?

If you look on the green board that everything is soldered to you will see things that are labled. J1 is a location on the board, if you orient the ecu like it is in the installation manual it is just above the location for the 28 pin rom socket. You have to desolder the holes and then solder a wire into the two holes. You have to do the same in the R54 location which is right next to the J1, except in R54 you have to solder a 1.1Kohm resistor.

I'd consider having a professional do it, you can very easily **** up the ecu and have to buy a new one.

Man, just spend $50 to get it done professionally. You already have all the stuff you need, why go and buy a SAFC now? You will be much happier with hondata
