NO. People who bore the seals are crazy.
Just lube up the injector seals nice and good with oil first. Then set the injectors in and tighten your fuel rail down. The rail will press the injectors down no problem. I wouldn't have dreamed of boring my seals first. There was just no need for it at all.

Strange. Mine were also DSM black-top 450's. Maybe there are different types? All I know is that I personally didn't bore my seals and the seals didn't leak a drop for the 8 months that I was running those inectors.

I have put DSMs in many times and always had to bore the seals. You want them to fit like stock, not be forced in.

i broke a seal once, and went to the auto store.... they had a little kit (I think it was Borg Warner) that came with various sizes of injector seals.... just a thought it bailed me out plenty,.

U HAVE TO BORE THE SEALS
i have the DSM 450cc Blue tops on a Z6 manifold, (all honda injectors are the same outter dimensions)
and i tried with oil , and no luck, the gasket was too cramped and was bad, too tight, u can strip the little olts holding the rail, then ur fucked
go buy a dremel , or borrow one
they have this sandwheel, that is like 1/2 big , thats the perfect size...
bore the seals with that, and place oil and now u can put the injectors in... will fit like a glove
this have done 4 times, and works like stock, follow my instructions... if u try to put them without boring, dont come back and bitch it didnt work
