Need help choosing a turbo!
Okay, let's start with little background. I just got back into the scene, and want to build another turbo car. It's going to be a daily driver, but boost lag is really not a big deal to me. Especially since most big turbos are full boost once Vtec kicks in. HP goals 550+ on the track, 300-350 on the streets. This is what I have lined up so far.
LS/Vtec
85mm 9.5:1 CR Arias Pistons
Pauter Rods
Darton Sleeves
Full race Portflow B16 Head
JG Intake Manifold
AEM EMS
900cc injectors
Apexi Silvia FMIC core
Tial 44mm
XS engineering BOV
Equal Length Turbo Manifold
Turbo????!!!!
Ignition????!!!!

I second that. Or if you want to spend less money, get the SFP manifold and run the same turbo...or if you want alittle more power run the t4/pt67 from precision. See my sig for hp numbers from that turbo..

Re: Need help choosing a turbo! (95GSRTT)
sc61 is not all that its cracked up to be.........precision turbo are good but Garrett 60-1 in my opinion is better. I chose Garrett over Precision because Garrett was a better street/strip turbo. 60-1 is a killer turbo w .48a/r it kills on the street is your sc61 avail. with a .48a/r I don't think so
