Need help, check light everytime i boost over stock wastegate setting!!!
i'm on a stock ls with a complete greddy kit (ic, blue box, etc.). i wanted to go the safer route so i got rid of the 310cc injectors and now i'm running the dsm 450cc . stock wastegate spring is set on 5.5psi. everything runs fine, the car just runs a little rich but like i said i wanted to go safer with the 450cc. now here's the problem, i got an mbc on now but whenever i boost over 6psi, the car sputters and throws code #3 (MAP sensor) . i would like to know why it does this, and im just trying to get the car to run on 7psi. with what i have on, 3 mechanics have told me that i can run at 9psi with no problems. im not even trying to boost that much. i just want to leave it at 7psi. anyone, please share your knowledge.
p.s. im also on a resistor pack for the injectors. i replaced the first one thinking that it was bad, but after changing it i still get the same result .

stock map is fine up till around 11psi. also he would have to re-program his ecu to recieve the 3bar. if i were you i would ditch the gay blue box and get tuned with crome,hondata,neptune...etc

What I think you should do for your situation.. yank a virgin map sensor from local junk yard and go get a missing link perferabllly snapslink. how is your setting on a BLUE BOX are you in the negative sides. the lean side? One more thing.. my set up does that code 3 too. but funny thing is only if I hit 7 psi during day i get CEL and during night which is interesting I can boost to 10 ish 11 without one single CEL I dont know is it has to do with temperature or bar pressure.. I live in California in Temecula is you wonder. So now i got the missing link.. cant say that it works perfect...but maybe 2 times a day i may get the CEL compared to like..lets say every corner where i go...

thanks vamp, yea i get code 3 every now and then too...but i mostly get code 45. i don't think i'm leaning out since im on 450cc instead of the 310cc that the greddy kit comes with.

A cheap and easy fix would be check valves or a missing link but really dont recommend either.
stock MAP 10-11psi should be fine. You may just have a bad MAP
