Need FPR w/Walbro?
I'm running RC 750's in my boosted h22 and right now I have a bosch inline fuel pump. I'm going to have my car dyno tuned to 18-20psi and am upgrading to a walbro 255. My question is, will I need a fuel pressure regulator or can I stick to the stock one? I'm running Hondata s200 btw. Thanks
**I searched and all the topics relating to my searches only covered DSM 450's or tuning with the hack **

Anyone else, I know someone's done this setup/similar setup before?

I have heard that with an upgraded fuel pump that you will run higher pressure when using a stock fpr.. Look on Endyn's site and they have an article about it.. http://www.theoldone.com

Re: (tgreaves)
The only people I have seen have problems when using a larger volume fuel pump is when they buy the HP (high pressure) version.
If you stick with the standard 190 lt/hr or 255lt/hr you should be fine on the stock FPR.
For gods sake though if you are boosting higher and have spent the money on the engine parts...get a good FPR with a proper 1:1 rise in fuel pressure under boost.

I agree.. For all the money you have in the turbo setup whats another $125 for a Aeromotive fpr..

for some reason after i put in the regular wlabro 255 my pressure was about 45,46psi with stock regulator,i have an adjustable one on there and lowered it down and the car made better power and idled better. even with the hondata it needed to be lowered down. worked best at around 32psi

I am completely willing and able to buy a fpr, my question was whether it was necessary or not. There are a lot of parts I am capable of buying but no one wants to waste their money on unnecessary parts
I appreciate the input and it looks like I'll be buying the aeromotive one

no offense or nothing, but i had a b&m one and it does not allow u to lower pressure. useless and waste of money imo.
