Need brass feed tee in MD/DC/VA ASAP
So Im getting ready to install a Drag kit and I notice that I dont have the brass tee fitting for the oil pressure sender.
So I go to Home Depot and make one with 2 male 1/8" pieces and a 3female tee. Had to resort to HD since no plumbing places seem to be open on Sat/Sun.
Get to that point in the install and its not working too well. Its a real tough going in the block, and I do NOT want to take a chance stripping those threads. Never mind that, because the male pieces are kind of long, it doesnt really fit well.
Does anyone have this tee fitting in the area. I am in town for the weekend installing this kit, and I need this completed ASAP so I can get back to work Monday Please!?!?!?!?!

home depot
1/8th npt tee with 1/8th npt nipple. Use teflon and it wont leak.
I've had mine like that for almost a year.
It'll cost you $3

I am holding that in my hand right now. It is tough to get the threads going in the block since they are BSPT and the fitting is NPT. Im not sure I want to ruin the threads in the block.
If anyone has the BSPT tee in a kit they arent putting on for a week or something, anything...I will have the fitting shipped to them first thing Monday morning. I really really need this to finish this up!!!!

Still in desperate need of that fitting or ANY straight adapter.
I could use a 2male fiting that will go into the block and also accept my feed line on one side. Im coming up empty at every hardware store...

no hardware store is going to have a bspt fitting,
if you dont want to tap the bspt thread to npt, i dont balme you since you wouldnt have a way of recoving metal shavings...just use the npt and tighten, make sure you use the teflon tape/sealant, the only difference between bspt and npt is that the bspt tapers down the thread pitch and size are the same, the npt fitting will fit in there it just wont screw in all the way, and i most certianly would not force it in there

Just thread in the NPT until it feels pretty tight. It does take a little while to get the ****** started, but just go with it. The good thing is, it fits nice and tight (no leaks). Use teflon on the oil pressure sensor, that's impt b/c the bspt is [a little] looser screwing into the npt tee.
Like i said, for over a year, and mine doesn't leak.
Also, my friend greddy kit, the tee included didn't look like it was any different than the one I used. I bet they just used NPT.
