ive searched and searched i hate even asking for a base map but its for my buddy we have everything to tune but are total noobs and i would like to atleast start with something half *** close. the motor is a spare his built sleeved motor spun a rod bearing and is out to get fixed when funds are available till then hes running a stock gsr motor with precision 780cc injecors, ram horn mani, sc61, gm3bar, skunk 2 IM, and were wanting to use a crome pro bin file. any help would be awsome even a point to the right direction ive googled and hunted every thing i can think of and nothing close. thanx

i got one that will work, but mine was 9:1 compression with itr head.

should work. because mine has a 3bar and the 780cc's good enough to start the engine and idle

Best bet is to order a basemap from a tuner like phearable.net or xenocron. It's about 30 bucks and it's better for peace of mind.

If you want to make your own basemap, you can read through the guide http://www.xenocron.com/install/CromeGuide.htm

It will get you an ok starting point with the motor if you are going to try and tune it yourself.

If you haven't tuned before, I would REALLY suggest that you read the www.pgmfi.org wiki so you understand more about tuning and not blow that motor as well.

Do you have the hardware to burn a chip? if not a basemap file isnt going to do you much good. if you do have a burner then you should just make your own. dephtone posted a great link that can walk you through the basemap process

I have everyting to burn a chip and tune im just looking for a good start. kinda just learning since its the spare backup motor its not the end of the world if she pops.
