Default Need advice on parts for B16a2 Turbo

Im going to be using a LovFab manifold and tial 35mm wastegate seen here:

A Garrett .57 trim .63 A/R turbine
PWR innercooler
RC 310cc injectors (whitch i have + fuel rail and FPR)
Blitz DD BOV or Tial
3" mandrel bent exh with e-cutout highflow cat, and Apexi N1 muff (havent decided yet, but leaning towards apexi)
Uberdata Fuel management with apexi AVR and VAFC controllers
some sort of turbo timer

now my questions:

should i use GSR cams instead of the B16 cams?
should i upgrade my intake manifold to skunk2 or ITR?
should i also get a walbro intank fuel pump?
use GSR pistons (possibly rods also) instead of B16?
valves... springs... retainers... nessicary?

any other recoomended parts that i am forgetting?

If you do upgrade your IM, I would go with the JG one over a S2 or ITR. And upgrading your fuel pump isnt a must, but its a very good idea. Chances are you will need to eventually anyway.

I just did the samething that you are saying .. I upgraded my B16 Cams to GSR cams. They will give you (from what ive seen 8-12 whp gain). Just for beter lift and a longer duration.

Im still putting my car back together, so I guess Ill see how good they are.

I don't think you can use GSR rods in a B16A2, with its lower deck height and all...

The 380cc are too small. You have a good set up, I would go with some 550cc.

You might have some problems controlling 550's with a VAFC though. Try to invest into a stand alone.

I think he would benefit more with the skunk2 or ITR mani. His setup is fairly mild and problably will not see many 9k revs to use that top end power of the JG.

Not flaming, I just disagree with this statement. Unless you are planning on running a larger turbo than what you listed and don't mind your power moved up on the power band forget about the JG VX manifold. As far as the SK2 or the ITR, where will your rev limit be? 8600? 9000? etc.. If you are planning to shift at 8400, just stick with your B16 mani. You will have better midrange power, which I believe is more important for a daily driver anyway.

I totally understand what you mean. I just said go with the JG because it, like you said, leaves room for a better setup (i.e. larger turbo, standalone etc.) It just seems like by spending the money on an ITR or S2 now, he is just spending money he may not have to if he chooses to go with a bigger setup later. Basically, since he is upgrading now, why not go with the biggest now so he doesnt have to later.
Now, if he has no intention of getting any wilder with his setup, then I agree, the S2 or ITR or even the stock b16 manifold is fine and will work great with his mild setup.
