Default Need advice for a cat-back on a JRSC'd teg

Right now I have a 3" Thermal R&D exhaust and it is just too loud. I'm thinking of going down to a 2.5" exhaust but I'm not sure which one to get. What would be a good (and quiet) one to get.

Thanks

My clutchmasters stage 3 is good. I have no complaints. It feels pretty much stock except it grips much better. I don't have much to compare it to though because I have never had another clutch other than the OEM Honda one.

Which one do you guys think would be the quietest?
-Apex-i N1
-Tanabe (I don't know which one)
-Greddy Evo

Thanks.

I'm running the same setup as you right now:

JRSC GSR @ 9psi
DC 4-1 JDM Header (2.5" collector)
3" Test pipe
Thermal 3" Catback
Water Injection
Map Mod
Comptech Intake/Ice Box

I'm going to sell my Thermal and buy a Greddy Power Extreme. One of my good friends had it on his car and it sounds really good and it's also about 2.5" piping.
BTW: He had the same setup as I do on my car before it got stolen.

What kind of #'s are you putting down with that setup?

How much more power did you get out of your car when you put the Hondata on there? Just curious, I'll be going to a Hondata S200 very soon.

Thanks.

All of the exhausts suggested you WILL lose power........why not just weld in a big 3" resonator to quiet it down alot. do a search people on here sell them for a good price.

I dynoed at 206whp.

I've already put on 2 foot long resonators in an attempt to quiet it down in addition to a 3" high-flow cat. I still find it too loud.

I know a guy that is willing to trade his Greddy Evo for my Thermal and another that might be willing to trade his Apex-i N1. Which one do you guys think would be quieter?

Thanks again

Yeah the numbers seem a bit low but I'm at an elevation of 3000ft and it was on a Mustang dyno, if that makes any difference. It doesn't really matter to me though, dynos are for tuning.

So no one has any experience with an Apex-i N1 or a Tanabe exhaust on a JRSC'd honda?

Tanabe super hyper medallion- (oval, straight through, all stainless, quiet)

DC TCS- (twin straight through silencers, all stainless) Does anybody know about the sound and the level from the DC TCS?

I have a thermal too, and I'm tired of the loudness. I feel like people think I want to race when I come off the line! I can't rev without being watched! AHHHHH!

I want the "Silent but deadly" (with a nice low tone)...
I want the Mugen TL, too much for just the rear section...
I will personally go with the Super Hyper Medallion or TCS.

i've heard it before on an all-motor 7G EX. it's a lot louder than you'd think but a very nice bassy tone. quieter than most exhausts, though.
