NEED ADVICE!!!
First of all excuse me if I am asking stupid question I need some ADVICE and Someone to EDUCATED ME!!!
Alright guys I wanna put down 320-370whp..OR make it run 11sec..Thats what I am looking for on my 98 b18b set up. Am currently running 11lbs bone stock. Now I just bought some Supertech Dual Valve Springs and Ti retainers, stage 2 cams, and Cam gears, ARP head studs..I wanna be able to raise the REV limit to 7.5k My turbo set up Log manifold 38mm Tial Greddy FMIC Greddy BOV 2in Innercooler Pipe Turbonetics t3/t4 turbo A/R .50 Rc440cc Walbro 255 Running Crome Now should I do pistons? and rod botls? If so What kind of Pistons? to hold this much of boost or pistons not really needed for 18psi? and get a new turbo set up or would this Log manifold hold up to 18psi and make the performance I am looking for? ANy suggestions would help or advice or some bit of knowledge that someone can past on to me please? Anyone that is well educated or been through experience help the brother out. Is this worth continuing with this turbo set up or get a new one? Make the power that I need with this turbo and manifold? |

anyone? any help is Greatly appreciated
THANKS! |
Re: NEED ADVICE!!! (roddy9)
I would not put any money into the head. Build the bottom end with forged pistons and rods before even touching the head. The manifold will support your power (if it's actually a log manifold and not a cast greddy one) but the turbo will be out of it's efficiency range. Also the 440's will more then likely max out before your goals as well.
